21 st October 2022- Karandaaz Pakistan signed an agreement with Punjab Social Protection
Authority(PSPA) to provide technical assistance for PSPA’s social protection programs. The
ceremony was chaired by CEO, Punjab Social Protection Authority (PSPA), Mr. Tauseef
Dilshad Khatana and Chief Digital Officer, Karandaaz Pakistan, Rehan Ahmed Akhtar. The
ceremony was held in the presence of Chairperson Punjab Ehsaas Program Senator, Dr.
Sania Nishtar, Senior Program Officer of Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Syed Ali Mahmood
and other senior officials from both organizations.
This partnership will not only facilitate PSPA in improving their social protection programs
but also ensure seamless digital payments through Raast. The partnership also aims to
devise new programs for PSPA to further spread their mandate.

42 in August 2014. Karandaaz is the implementation partner of the Enterprise and Asset GroMh
Programme (EAGR) and Sustainable Energy and Economic Development (SEED) programme of
UK's Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO). SEED is grant funded by FCDO
whereas EAGR is co- funded by FCDO and Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation on grant basis.
